В пятницу, 13 Сентября и в субботу, 14 Сентября: «Гавайская Мироточивая Иверская икона Божией Матери» будет присутствовать в Ново-Дивеево на 75-летии обители.

В Ново-Дивеево состоялись монашеский и иноческий постриги.

В преддверии праздника Успения Божией Матери Митрополит Восточно-Американский и Нью-Йоркский Николай, Первоиерарх Русской Зарубежной Церкви, совершил в нашей ставропигиальной Свято-Успенской обители иноческий и монашеский постриги. Новопостриженные сестры обрели покровительство святых, в честь которых получили новые имена в монашестве.

Владыка Николай поздравил новопостриженных с принятием ангельского образа и обратился к ним с напутственным словом.

Мантийного пострига (пострига в малую схиму) сподобились:

Инокиня Евдокия - с наречением имени Елисавета в честь преподобномученицы Великой княгини Елисаветы.

Инокиня Вера - с наречением имени Варвара в честь преподобномученицы инокини Варвары, сподвижницы Великой княгини Елисаветы.

Также был совершен иноческий постриг (постриг в рясофор) послушницы Нины.

По окончании чина постригов присутствовавшие в храме духовенство, монахини и молящиеся из числа прихожан и паломников поздравили монахинь Елизавету и Варвару и инокиню Нину старинным приветствием - Спасайся во ангельстем чине!

Monastic Tonsures Occurred at Novo-Diveevo

On the eve of the feast of the Dormition of the Mother of God, Metropolitan Nicholas of Eastern America and New York, First Hierarch of the Russian Church Abroad, performed monastic tonsures in our convent. The newly tonsured sisters found the patronage of the saints in whose honor as they received new names in monasticism.

Bishop Nicholas congratulated the newly tonsured on accepting the angelic rank and addressed them with words of guidance on their monastic path.

The following were tonsure into the small schema:

Nun Evdokia - with the name Elisabeth in honor of the holy martyr Grand Duchess Elisabeth.

Nun Vera - with the name Varvara in honor of the holy martyr nun Varvara, companion of the Grand Duchess Elisabeth.

Also, the monastic tonsure (tonsure into the ryasophor) of novice Nina was performed.
